Introducing the ultimate plug & play premix burner control unit.

Following requests from customers to develop a self contained control unit for metal fibre or ceramic plaque burners, Infraglo has developed the QUBE.

Housed in a stainless steel box 270 x 270 x 290, the QUBE houses all the components necessary to run a gas fired infrared burner. All the customer needs to connect is power and gas!

The QUBE can also be supplied to various IP specifications dependant upon the application environment.

The QUBE comprises:

• 1/2" BSP gas connector
• 240v live/neutral/earth socket connector
• Power on indicator
• Burner on/off switch with burner run indicator
• Burner lockout indicator
• Momentary switch for resetting burner on failure
• Manual heat input potentiometer or 1-10v dc / 4-20μ output to plc or temperature controller
• Fully modulating fan
• Twin solenoid gas shutoff valves with zero governor
• Venturi with needle valve/throttle assembly to adjust air/gas ratio dependent upon gas used; natural gas or LPG
• ESYS control box
• Turn down is up to 10:1 dependent upon burner and application

The housing is normally fitted with a washable air inlet filter but this can be replaced with a socket for connection to a pressurised clean air supply in particularly dusty environments.

The QUBE can improve temperature distribution, controllability, productivity and ultimately product quality whilst potentially reducing fuel consumption.
